my mad seniors are fabulous people. all of what you guys said today really hit me. i really did not feel so much and cried like that for dance ever since leaving nymd. we have been training for so long, 6months? and how many times can we actually say we put in our best for the dance. in contrary, we have complained of this and that. while all of you all who are much busier with school and other commitments than us, have always ALWAYS tried your best and gave everything to the group. i dontknow about others, but i felt really .. ashamed? when it all hit me. like what sharon said, our nanyang juniors have improved so much. they too, gave their all to the dance and to the troupe. what about us as seniors. i haven been a good senior nor junior myself. i felt sooo guilty. it was liuqian's words which struck me the most. on wednesday, we are going to ucc. to put up a dance we practised for six whole months. we have come a long way. and on wednesday, we are going to give it our all. and with no regrets. the results wont matter anymore, so long as we have given it our heart and soul. however role we are playing in the dance, we will do it to our bestttest. WITH NO REGRETS. our aim is only to touch one person out of the audience. and when we really touched that one person, we have succeeded as a dancer. as a dancer. which means the world to us. what kelvin said just now reminded me of something. after syf, whats going to happen. this very group of people who trained together every week for six months? some people going to hiphop, some training with other ccas.. we will most probably never come together as a whole troupe, this whole syf team again. these people mean so much to me. when i think about this, i really dont want syf to end. how all of us struggled to survive every practise, jumps and leaps across the floor.. remember the first time we joined mad we were in the room above the poolside restaurant? remember how we all felt that time and how we felt that we couldnt catch mr dan's steps and his dance moves. then think about now, how we have all come together to perform a dance together. with different groups of people, the leads, the suitcase people, the guys and the umbrellas group. FOUR groups of people doing synchronised movements together and in the end, fit in together with the whole dance. the whole picture. our seniors really did so much for us. they are the ones who pulled the whole of mad together. i dont want them to step down and leave. but when that happens, i dont want our batch to be the ones who are going to pull down the troupe and like what nicholas said, to undo everything that our seniors did for us. our seniors really make alot of sense. i can still remember what each of them said. clarice said when they first wanted to work on syf, the seniors stood in the studio, eight of them together. there were only eight of them. so when we came, we were like God-sent to them. with us, they can do and perform a dance of our own. our very own modern dance syf. clarice said we were God-sent. we were the ones who gave them hope. they treasured us, their juniors so much. yet we didnt do them honour by letting them down. by demoralising the troupe. meiling said, when you say something is not good enough, this step doesnt look nice. what we are supposed to do is not to sit back and talk and comment. cause that's not going to change anything. what we should do, which we haven, is to CHANGE it. MAKE A CHANGE. since we said it was not good, MAKE IT BETTER. kelvin said, they are fighting for us. for mad. for the future generations of mad juniors to come. for us to get better basic stuff like dancing rooms, and for others to see us as important and significant people. see mad as an important troupe. for the school to believe in us and see how good mad is. and seniors, we are going to fight for you all too. we are going to believe in ourselves. cause this whole thing is not about us anymore, it's about the dance. the troupe. it's about mad. IT'S ABOUT MAD. it's about mr dan too, whose kindness and niceness to us have been taken for granted and taken advantage of by us for so many times. and it's about our seniors. who worked so hard to put mad together. who gave it all just for us. WE WONT LET YOU DOWN SENIORS. ALL OF YOU ALLLL ROCK SO MUCH. WE WILL WORK VERY VERY VERY HARD, EMOOOOOOO OUR VERY VERYY BESTTT. WE WILL JIAYOU. TOGETHER. WE LOVE MAD. <3
